Cautious optimism rears her ugly head yet again. What an inconsiderate monster she can be.
I like my work, I like my home (despite the running battle vs. the mess), I've discovered new and enjoyable crafts, and I'm getting to re-experience the beauty of Vancouver through the eyes of someone who's new here.
At the moment I'm not even waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm too happy to be pessimistic. It feels rather pleasant. Confusing, but pleasant.
Tomorrow I'll spend more time getting the home organized and less time jabbing needles into wool to see what shapes I can make. A fair trade. One day for mental upkeep, one day for household upkeep.
There's a marvelous storm brewing.
